Architape (www.architape.co.uk) is a high-quality linear LED solution for architectural and decorative lighting applications, based around high-quality, EU-manufactured LED tape using top-quality components (like Nichia LEDs), along with custom and proprietary extrusions and accessories. Much of the product is assembled to order at our High Wycombe location. Architape is marketed directly to the UK architectural specification sector by Architainment Lighting.
Position
We are seeking an experienced individual to break new ground and actively identify new business opportunities within the linear architectural LED sector, outside of the lighting design community.
The role will involve analysing the wider lighting market, identifying untapped sectors, and targeting opportunities not currently addressed by Architainment. A key objective will be to expand market reach, open new revenue streams, and develop strategic entry points into these areas.
We anticipate a focus on the following areas:
· M and E consultants
· End clients
· Retail roll outs
· Specialist contractors
· Interior designers
We have some existing clients in the above categories that the successful candidate would take over.
Key duties and responsibilities:
· Managing and overseeing Architape projects
· Business development of existing and new accounts
· Working with our Technical Services and Manufacturing departments to deliver solutions
· Liaison with manufacturers, clients and internal teams
· Developing and maintaining a sales funnel
· Development and achievement of sales targets
· Reporting to the Sales Director
Key skills required:
· Experience in Lighting sales, preferably with LED tape products
· Contacts within the target areas listed above
· Confident energetic self-starter
· Team player
· Great communicator
· Clean UK driver’s license
Location
The position will be based at our High Wycombe offices, but a good deal of time would be spent on the road visiting customers. This will require regular travel within the UK and occasional travel outside of the UK.
Salary
We are offering a competitive salary based on the candidate's experience, plus a 100% electric company car.
